Scientific organizations need competent managers in all areas of their activities. A study of the parameters of the quality and activity of applied research managers was conducted. The values of standards for quality parameters and activities of applied research managers were developed and these parameters were evaluated in the organization. Proposals for improving the values of quality parameters and the activities of applied research managers of the organization are identified.
