In the article we analyzed the approaches to the concept of “international trade”, examined its types
and factors that influence it. The product “dairy products” was also characterized. The product is heterogeneous, that’s why we analyzed the structure and characteristics. We also consider the dynamics of
international trade in dairy products in the EU, commodity and geographical structure. Factors that directly
affect the international trade in dairy products are also considered
