The calculation of the environmental and economic efficiency of processing municipal solid waste with the replacement of technological equipment at the EcoResourcePovolzhye enterprise in the city of Tolyatti is presented. The environmental effect of replacing the RMZ TR-4500 screening drum with new drum separators in the technological process of sorting and separating MSW will result from a decrease in the receipt of MSW to the landfill by 3,478.20 tons / year and disposal costs by 253,908.6 rubles / year. The economic effect will amount to 21,478,478.3 rubles / year from the additional sale of VMR. The payback period for new equipment will be approximately 1 year.
