The article covers the issues of landscape and ecological assessment of the territory of suburban raions of Samara. During the practical training of students in the direction of Land Management and Cadastre Profile Real Estate Cadastre of Samara State University of Economics the territory of the quarry developments on Mount Ti-Tyav in the Krasnoglinsky district of the city was investigated. Stabilizing areas (forest areas, meadows, natural water bodies) and destabilizing areas (built-up areas, quarries, ravines, arable land under annual crops) were identified.
