The article studies the concept of a functional semantic-stylistic category (FSSK), stipulates the importance of studying various types of FSSK in relation to different functional styles. The author puts forward a hypothesis about the possibility of distinguishing FSSK of euphemisms. The paper analyzes euphemisms FSSK, characterizes euphemisms used in texts of different functional styles.
