The article analyzes the problematic issues of combating corruption in public authorities of modern Russia. The most important directions of the Russian anti-corruption policy in the system of the state civil service of the Russian Federation are identified and evaluated. The article also identifies effective mechanisms to prevent corruption in the public service. And an attempt was made to update the effectiveness of measures to combat corruption in the sphere of state bodies of the Russian Federation.
