Annotation:
The presented article is devoted to the analysis of changes in the current Constitution of the Russian Federation - an important step for any state. In January 2020, the President of the Russian Federation proposed amending the Constitution. Among the amendments was a provision on vesting the Constitutional Court with powers to verify the legitimacy of national law. In this article, the authors considered possible formats of empowerment, chose the most optimal option and substantiated this point of view.
