Annotation:
The article considers public discussion of procurement as a form of public control, as well as the role of this institution in the contract system. The forms of public participation in the process of state and municipal procurement and orders are highlighted. Cases of mandatory public discussion, organizers and participants of such discussions are considered. The article describes two stages of discussions and types of final decisions. The problematic aspects in these legal relations are identified and ways to solve them are proposed. The article defines cases when mandatory public discussion of purchases is not required.
