Annotation:
The article discusses the main signs of financial pyramids, allowing to attribute the organization to persons involved in fraudulent activities. Types of financial pyramids are distinguished based on various schemes used to deceive the population. Methods and forms of combating financial pyramids in the Russian Federation are studied, place is given to the issue of developing modern Russian legislation providing for punishment for the creation and management of financial pyramids. The question is raised about the need to increase the financial and legal literacy of the population, with the aim of timely detection of criminal activities in the field of finance.
