The article discusses the prospects for the using of machine learning algorithms by the regulator in regulatory or supervisory activities. The statistics are shown of the transition to the “digital channel” of customer service in countries with a comparable size of open branches on its territory. The risks of a fullscale transition of the regulator to the digital environment are estimated when making various levels of decisions.
