The article is devoted to the analysis of the effectiveness of the implementation of blockchain platforms and artificial intelligence in food production, which advantages are considered by these technologies. In particular, the structure of blockchain platforms and artificial intelligence at the current stage of development of society has been studied; examples of successful implementation of blockchain and artificial intelligence in the food industry are considered. In conclusion, the authors give an opinion on the prospects for the penetration of information technology into food industry enterprises and the level of change in business processes.
